Lake Forest

Lake Forest is a lovely, established neighborhood.  It is very centrally located.  It has  Coker Hills on one side and Booker Creek on the other side.  This neighborhood has a nice range of house styles, types and sizes.  There is a recreational lake and the neighborhood is great for walking.  Many homes have had updates and additions. Also, there are a number of houses along the lake that have been significantly redone.  Some houses have been torn down and been rebuilt.

Lake Forest is a lovely, established neighborhood. It is very centrally located in Chapel Hill, NC. It has Coker Hills neighborhood on one side and Booker Creek subdivision on the other. Lake Forest is within walking distance of many local shopping centers, including Village Plaza (Whole Foods, Jersey Mikes, PTA Thrift Shop), and East Gate Shopping Center (Trader Joes, Starbucks, Bruegger’s Bagels, The Loop) and the Chapel Hill Public Library.

This neighborhood has a nice range of house styles, types and sizes. There is a recreational lake around which the neighborhood is built, with lots of great sidewalks and trail paths for walking. Many homes have had updates and additions. Also, there are a number of houses along the lake that have been significantly redone. Some houses have been torn down and been rebuilt.Lot sizes in the neighborhood vary from .3-1.7 acres. Homes in this neighborhood sell from the mid $400,000 to upwards of $800,000. Schools serving the Lake Forest neighborhood are Estes Hills Elementary, Guy Phillips Middle, and East Chapel Hill High schools.

Located within 10 minutes of both Highway 15-501 and I-40, Lake Forest is a short drive away from access to downtown Chapel Hill and Durham via 15-501. Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, and Cary are also easily accessible via I-40.
